At 52, Michael Koon’s life takes changed direction
A Gilmer man is rerouting his life at the age of 52. Michael Koon was valedictorian of his General Educational Development (GED) class at Kilgore College, which graduated 67 students on June 10. He intends to enter the nursing program at Kilgore College and become a full-time nurse.
