44 Million Calls to HMRC Unanswered

A report out today shows 44 million calls to HM Revenue and Customs went unanswered in the year from 2008-2009. The National Audit Office is calling the performance of 31 call centres across the UK ‘unacceptable’. Their figures show 103 million calls were made to HMRC. The answer rate fell from 71% the previous year, to just 57%, however, the NAO has said the volume of calls made during this period increased by 22%. During peak times, just 1 in 3 calls were answered and calls that did get through had to wait an average of 2 minutes for a reply or 4 minutes during the busiest times. A spokesman for HMRC says its performance has ‘significantly improved’ in 2009-2010. Ivan Calls Sprint

I have been getting calls from Sprint for the past 4 weeks. Every week I have been telling them, that they have the wrong number. However, the insist on calling me. As much as I love phone calls, they hang up within seconds (This makes me sad)….. Or not. Well I have Ivan contact Sprint to get to the bottom of this. To the higher ups of Sprint….. Please consider where you want you call center.

How can you report a company for unsolicited calls when they are not a telemarketing company?

I have requested them take me off their list over 10 times and I keep getting calls from them. They are very rude and keep telling me that they will take me off the list, but obviously don’t.

HELP!
I am already on the Do not call list and since this company isn’t a telemarketing firm they don’t apply to the rules and regulations.

How can I stop telemarketing calls on my cell phone?

I keep getting calls from seemingly random area codes and numbers, with an automated voice telling me that “This is my second notice that the factory warranty on my vehicle is about to expire.” This is all BS because that happened long ago. How can I stop them from calling, they call me about once a week, every week, and I am so angry.
