Groups say coal-ash site in Oklahoma tainting water
TULSA (AP) — Three environmental groups say a coal-ash disposal site in Oologah is contaminating groundwater in the area. A report released Thursday by the Environmental Integrity Project, Earthjustice and the Sierra Club say the groundwater under American Electric Power-Public Service Co. of Oklahoma’s Northeastern Station is contaminated with has arsenic and heavy metals.

Company to open Oklahoma call center, hire 500
OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) – A Dallas-based company owned by Xerox Corp. says it plans to open a call center in Oklahoma City and hire 500 people. Chris Gilligan, a Lexington, Ky.-based spokesman for Affiliated Computer Services Inc., says the company plans to open the call center in December.
