At the recent SAP for Utilities event in Mannheim I caught up with SAP’s Klaus Heimann and we discussed two new SAP product announcements: 1. A new customer web portal for utilities and 2. An Enterprise Energy Management application here is a transcript of our conversation: Tom Raftery: Hi everyone, welcome to GreenMonk TV. We are here at the SAP for Utilities event in Mannheim and with me I have Klaus Heimann. Klaus you brought up in your keynote two new announcements from SAP, two very interesting announcements, can you tell me a bit more about them? Klaus Heimann: Yes, for sure. The first one was about customer online services. That’s easily explained. 750 million households are currently receiving bills from their utilities that are actually produced by our software. And many of these consumers now are in a deregulated market increasingly getting into the smart grid. And so the number of contacts they have to the utility is increasing and the utilities are getting very concerned about the cost of their call centers, they want to switch to internet. And our offering is here that we want to develop internet self services made-to-order for each utility as they want it, that refers back to the SAP for utilities instance that our customers are running. Does anyone know if adding you product to a call centers catalog or whatever it’s called is effective?
With a little marketing, a website and a new product brand. Will revenue go up? I know most sales reps are good at cross-selling and up-selling.
Is getting your product in with their other offers easy? Just researching some options for products I am developing.
I know “products” is a general term and it all depends on what your selling. I just would like general info from any one that has experience with this.
My products are in the skin care genre.

How can I get a valid product key to activate my Windows?
I bought a used laptop a couple months ago. I ignored the constant reminders to activate windows. Now I can’t get into the computer, I’m being prompted for the product key. The product key on the bottom of the laptop doesn’t work and I didn’t get any software or instruction manuals. I’ve called Microsoft-they said its an HP problem. I called HP, they told me to either buy Windows of send it to them. There must be an easier way, I can’t do without the laptop for many weeks. By the way, it came with Windows Media Center Edition. I would like to have Windows XP2.
