New computer question about hardware (specs included)?
Alright, so all I will be using my computer for is to browse the internet, (Facebook, YouTube, pretty much small time browsing.) downloading music for iTunes, very minimal video editing, (Windows Movie Maker, thats all I know how to do LOL) etc. Nothing too intense EXCEPT for gaming. Now I do have an Xbox 360 for about 85% of my gaming. Keep in mind that I am a 14 year old boy, so besides school, Hanging out with friends, and girls, this is a big chunk of my life. The only computer games I will ever play is The Sims 3 and Civilization 5 based games. Any RTS. (real time strategy.) I will never buy anything like Call of Duty or Assassins Creed for my PC. So this is what I want or Christmas, a nice computer that will meet my needs. I will also tell you all that we are not rich, or anywhere near to it. I live in the United States of America, and the economy is pretty rough, I am not ashamed to say this because this is who I am. The Computer is 1200.

Dare to answer this networking design question?
A Scientific software co is expanding operations and has purchased an office building made of brick, three floors constructed in 1940 with original heat system and central air installed in 1970. It housed several tenents which restructured each floor different so cabling on each is different.and not connected as a whole in the building. They also left connection panels and wall jacks for telephone and data on floors 2&3 but took all else. 1st floor has UTP cat5 and was an acct office. 2nd has Cat3 and was a telemrkt firm with cubicles and 3rd was a design firm and has multimode fiberoptic. The co wants Sales dept with mobile salespersons with laptops, a call center and an R&D dept with high security (competitors) and high speed in each respective floor. Which of these depts would make best use of a wireless network? Why? also which has the most secure cabling at the moment? Why?
