Is there a huge difference between real wood and press board when it comes to second-hand, thrift items?

I am conflicted about which entertainment center to get for my new house from this warehouse thrift store that I found through Yahoo! Answers. It’s called eMoneyBay, and at first I was leery of used stuff, but they actually have incredible bargains for good furniture. However, they kept saying “this is solid wood” or “this is press board,” and some of the things looked exactly the same to me. I didn’t want to appear uninformed, so I mostly just got what looked nice in terms of decoration, but asked them to hold onto the entertainment center for a couple of days. One entertainment center is “press board” but looks so beautiful! The other one is more standard and boring, but it’s “solid wood.” Now solid sounds better, but they look the same to me.

How can you really tell the difference, and does it really matter?

Cloud hosting is the real world

The “cloud” is the connected servers that allow a website to process with the power of many servers and utilize the all resources of the server group in real time. This is cloud hosting. A website hosted on cloud hosting uses a group of clustered servers to enhance its performance.

Cloud hosting has its own benefits:

Cloud hosting is beneficial to everyone. Start-ups can keep costs down by storing most of their resources like applications and data in the cloud.

Research projects can be speed up by accessing online libraries, collecting and editing reports in the cloud itself.

Companies can eliminate capital investments like purchasing state-of-the-art servers for storing their client data and service applications. Rather cloud servers can handle these tasks thus freeing the companies to concentrate on providing best quality services to their clientele.

The user need not have knowledge of complex cloud computing technologies rather the implementation details are best handled by the cloud providers while the corporate can focus on providing best quality services to their clients and individual users can use the cloud services at their convenience on pay-per use basis.

Cloud computing also facilitates instant scalability whereby companies can demand higher or lower cloud resource provision in an instant depending on the current demand. You’ll never need to over-provision again. Cloud hosting allows you to scale your service at virtually any time, so you pay-as-you-grow.  This saves unnecessary overheads like training additional personnel, maintaining extra infrastructure like servers and purchasing costly licensed software.

Cloud computing will enable users to run operating systems from the cloud on the go rather than from their desktops. Companies will no longer need to maintain huge data-centers rather they can adopt a lean and mean approach to their businesses. This is what you can say a prominent future plan which enables you to use this service in a very easy manner.

There will be no more data loss and extended down time. All data on cloud is automatically mirrored across the network it resides on.

Traditional backups only protect your files. Actually restoring and using the data is complicated at best. In contrast, cloud hosting is a complete executable instance of your application with all of its data. Every time you need you can roll to a running version of your application that runs when restored and includes all the data from that period.

Real People, Real Results From An Order Taking Call Center

Customers often measure a company in its ability to provide superior customer service. An impeccable delivery comes from an interaction with a live person taking the call.

If your business is primarily engaged in promoting goods and services, you may need a professional team of agents who both have the skill and the aptitude to take specific orders with precision.

Taking orders requires real people

Order taking services is a serious matter every small and medium business owner should know. For one, it enables your business to respond to the immediate concerns of the customer such as making instructions or clarifying issues. Some organizations have walked the extra mile by turning to the latest technology in hopes of seeking new and inventive ways to boost this service for improved productivity. Automated order systems, popular in e-commerce web sites, have attempted to map out this seamless task but failed to an extent. Why? It is because customers still want a real human voice on the other line responding to get all matters resolved quickly and carefully.

Live order taking can do exactly just that. You have a team of experts managing customers while making them feel your business is there to serve. When a customer comes across a short-term promotion or responded to an ad, can a machine answer questions real-time?

Productivity = Profits

The service of taking orders goes far beyond routine. And the benefits of integrating it into your business operations are tremendous. Anyone in the team can best represent your business and promote your products and services more effectively. The best part is that they do not have to be part of your in-house staff but an outsourced call center maintaining an inviting “front door” for you.

The good news is this: Live order taking is here to stay. The service demands real people doing real interaction with customers. It adds personal touch, which in turn can build long-term trust and loyalty.

Order taking in the voice of a live person goes a long way in providing clarity in the mind of the customer. It establishes a lasting relationship that no automated systems can provide.
