Who should I contact in Arizona regarding a complaint about unfair hiring practices?
My current employer, (who claims to promote from within, on thier website career center) has passed me up for a promotion to another department. The candidate who the job has been offerred to, has no prior experience, and would need to be trained on all software and operations. When I was called in to the person hiring the position, I was promptly told the “job had already been filled”. No interview, no discussion about my qualifications. I feel that I am perfectly qualified for the position, and have the knowledge of the operations, and all the procedures; I could hit the ground running, and bypass all of the training, and new orientation. I feel I was not given a fair shake at this position. Not even a fair chance….
Who should I contact to file a grievance? I have contacted my Human Resources Dept, and all they did is informed my General Manager of the situation.

I think I am stuck writing my resume, what should I do?
how would I write this sentence in my resume?
I was working for a while at this call center and these are the job descriptions I have.
===========================================
Passed with a score of 95/100 by the end of 3 week training
program
Reduced average call time to 3 minutes and 10 seconds
while maintaining superior level of customer service
Assisted 75 – 100 customers on a daily basis by updating
credit cards, vehicle information and providing support for
their website needs
Trusted with confidential information, updating Vector 3.0
database with customer information.
=========================================
It’s the last line I am mostly stuck at ,for some reason it doesn’t flow right
Vector 3.0 was the software I used to update credit card info, vehicle info and so on…but for some reason it doesn’t seem like the sentence is right.. how would I write it so that it sounds right ?
What should I consider when hiring a call center service?
My flower shop is experiencing an upsurge. I have now more customers and more profits. I also receive lots of calls. Just recently, I rented another store space. With the ever-expanding business, I am thinking of getting the services of a call center.
What should I consider when hiring a call center service?
What should I do if I am afraid of performing bad at a new job? Will they train me?
I finished an internship doing technical support/customer service in a call center a couple months ago. I was troubleshooting lottery machines for the lottery at my internship. The way I earned this internship was by completing a training program in information technology Of course, before I was able to get on the phones in the call center, I was trained in what to do.
Anyway, I recently heard back from this staffing agency about an IT help desk position. Unfortunately, I really am not THAT skilled in computers. Even though I passed a training program in IT, I really don’t know much about software or troubleshooting computers in general. I mean, I use a computer daily, but I really didn’t learn that much in my training program. The teachers just told us to read stuff and I read it and passed the tests but I really don’t remember what I learned. Sometimes computer programs seem like gibberish to me.
What should I do? Should I just look for a job solely in customer service and forget computers? Will the company train me?
