What are some really good tips for telemarketing?

I’m new at this job and i havn’t made one sell yet. It couldnt be THAT hard sellind DVD’s over the phone. I want to sell at least one today.

Can anyone teach me some basic stuff about computers!?

im kyle im 20 and i dont have enough money to go to school at the moment…. im working in a call center for dish network making 10.40 n hr so im working lots of over time trying to pay off medical bills and my trucks in the shop! so yeh like i said im pretty broke at the moment and cant afford to go to school…i am in the process of joining the navy so they can pay for it! but i did get into a little trouble as a minor a few drinking charges and what not so ive had a hard time getting in im at the end of the debate wether or not to let me in… i had to speak with the commanding officer and what not and he’s given me his recomendation so from what im told i have like a 90% chance of being in there i should find out with in a couple days then i go swear in and pick my job…. im hoping to go in for computer science but unfortanately with the military you dont always get what you want!…..so yeh anyways im hoping to learn some basic things on the computer software/ hardware what ever i just want to learn it all and i need to start as soon as possible if im able! so if anyone is willing to help please answer this question and leave a fb/aim/yim name for me to contact you! mine r facebook,com/kps7525 yim-kps7525,@,yahoo,com aim- kps7525 there arnt actually comma’s obviously its just so they wont block my message on here thanks!
i dont want too build a computer i kinda almost know how to do that i know alot of the parts and cables and stuff hah i mean i will build a gaming computer once i learn a little more about hardware but i want to know how they work like A+ or C+ things like that i’d like to be a tech or a programmer or all of the above preferrably …..i wanna know how to work/fix computers inside and out i need to find a tech that can teach me stuff!
no books i want someone to help me i mean il get books and stuff as well if needed but id like to be tought i just cant afford to go to school right now
