Dear Call Box: I understand and support the limited days for lawn watering. But what, if any, is the logic for watering residential grass on Saturday? I, as I’m sure most homeowners who mow their own grass, do it on a Saturday. With six other days of the week to choose, why this one? Common sense, as well as most gardeners and lawn mower instructions, indicate not to mow wet grass.

TULSA (AP) — Three environmental groups say a coal-ash disposal site in Oologah is contaminating groundwater in the area. A report released Thursday by the Environmental Integrity Project, Earthjustice and the Sierra Club say the groundwater under American Electric Power-Public Service Co. of Oklahoma’s Northeastern Station is contaminated with has arsenic and heavy metals.
