How to get rid of Windows Security Alerts?

I think I’m infected with a very nasty virus. The process is called “wscscv32.exe”, it looks like windows security center, but it says i don’t have any virus scanners installed. It pops up every second in my toolbar in the right corner of the screen, looking like a Security center-icon, and next to it is a red cross. If i click on the red cross, it starts an installer, that is installing a program called AntiMalware.
The security center-logo keeps saying things like:
Defenseless OS : Windows 2000/XP/Vista,
Description: Spyware. Blocks access to computer,
or: Spyware, tries to steal bank accounts, etc etc.
And: there are some serious threats detected on your computer: viruses, trojans, keyloggers etc. etc.
Protection: Click balloon to install antivirus-software

It also pops up saying:
Do you want to block this suspicious software?

Name: Backdoor.Win32.Agent.ich (It says all kinds of virus names!!)
Risk: High Risk
Description (Always different) This trojan provides a remote malicious user with access to the vitcim machine. It is a Windows PE EXE file. it is 408654 bytes in size. (And stuff like that)

How do i get rid of this annoying infection??
Please answer!!!!!
Mail to: tadehogenelst@hotmail.com

Thanks!

Alternative for Windows Media Center using Vista?

Hi,

I recently upgraded from Windows XP to Vista. Unfortunately the Windows Media Center on my Vaio (VGC-RA828G) is not recognizing the factory installed Tuner card (Giga Pocket® MPEG2 Realtime Encoder/Decoder board with TV Tuner). I called Microsoft and they tell me I have to go to Sony. I called Sony and they tell me to uninstall Vista.

So my questions is… Is there some other (preferably free) DVR software that I can now use on my newly Vista installed Vaio machine that will also work with my Tuner card (Giga Pocket® MPEG2 Realtime Encoder/Decoder board with TV Tuner)?

Any suggestions or advice would be appreciated!

thanks,
Matt
Yes, I did visit the Sony site and downloaded the Vaio TV Tuner Library Update (at http://esupport.sony.com/US/perl/swu-download.pl?mdl=VGCRA828G&upd_id=2444&os_id=28) but that made no difference. It still did not recognize my tuner card

Windows Media Center Screen Goes Black (If u answer this i’ll mark it best answer)?

When I open up Media Center The screen goes black, even when it’s in a window, it was working fine yesterday, this is what happened…
At first the Windows Media Center was working fine, until when i opened it it gave me an error on my Video card not being compatible, but I have an eMachines PC with 512 MB ram, and an NVIDIA GeForce 4MX integrated GPU, card, so this guy told me to do this…

“Just open regedit and point to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Media Center\Display Settings

Then Add 2 DWORD KEYS called DisableDxCheck and DisableDx9CapsCheck and set both their values to 1 and media center should start without problems or copy and paste the contents below to a REG file”

I did that then i get a black screen, THEN some person told me to download MPEG decoder, and i STILL get a black screen

I PROMISE If u answer this i’ll mark it best answer for sure!’

Thank you and Have a Happy new Year

I signed onto my computer to a virus this morning that wasn’t there last night. It has is posing as Windows Security Center and keeps opening something Called Spyware Guard and they keep generating false alerts. It has disabled my Anti-Virus Program and whenever Iook to goto a site online that is for anti-virus software it either says page cannot be found or refers it to a false search page. Has anyone else gotten this Or know how to get rid of? I keep trying to install anti-virus programs but it either kills them or gives them error that won’t work.
