Medical Factoring: How to Finance your Healthcare Business without a Loan
There are few bigger pains for healthcare industry professionals than having to wait 30, 60 or even 120 days to collect payments from insurance companies, HMOs and Medicare/Medicaid. The healthcare industry is riddled with complex billing, coding and processing rules that create very long payment cycles. This can be very difficult for medical offices, testing and diagnostic centers, medical supply companies, or any healthcare related business, for that matter. There are always many ongoing expenses that can’t wait. There is rent that needs to be paid, offices expenses that need to be covered, and payroll that must be met.
This situation creates a problem for most healthcare businesses. On paper, the business may look very profitable and seem to be doing well. But in reality, most of the money is tied up in slow paying invoices (also known as accounts receivable) with little cash to show for it in the bank.
When faced with tight cash flow, most healthcare professionals turn to their bankers. Medical doctors can usually qualify for signature loans or lines of credit. Other business professionals are not so lucky. In reality, a loan or line of credit may help you in the short term, but will not solve the main problem. Why? Well, loans are good for buying equipment or large capital expenditures, but not for covering recurring and ongoing expenses. A line of credit is a better solution, but they usually have fixed limits. What happens if the business grows past the limits of the line of credit? Many healthcare professionals usually find out, the hard way, that the bankers that were quite happy to extend the first loan or line of credit will not be so helpful at increasing it. Unfortunately, bankers absolutely hate it when businesses came back to the well for more money.
If you look at the problem at hand, you will soon realize that the perfect solution should have the following characteristics. First, it should be able to accelerate your insurance payments so that you can get them quickly rather than slowly. Second, the solution should be able to grow with your business. So, if your business grows its billings, the solution should be able to adapt the financing it delivers, seamlessly. Third, the solution should allow you to finance significant growth. Maybe three to five times your current revenues – or more.
There is a solution that meets these criteria and is available to the healthcare industry. The solution is to factor your medical receivables using a financing tool called medical factoring. Medical factoring allows you to accelerate your payments from insurance companies, HMO’s or Medicare/Medicaid. It enables you to receive a substantial amount of your net collectables within days of billing, streamlining your cash flow dramatically.
Medical factoring, a specialty form of general factoring, allows you to sell your claims and receivables to a factoring financing company. The factoring company buys them – at a small discount – and pays you with immediate funds. The factoring company waits to be paid while you get to use the funds to meet business expenses. As opposed to traditional banking financial products, medical factoring has no arbitrary limits. You can factor or sell as much revenue as you can generate, making it the ideal financing tool for growth.
However, factoring is not the best solution for every situation. It works best in instances where your main challenge is that you cannot afford to wait to get paid in 60 to 120 days. It helps you meet ongoing and recurring expenses such as rent, payroll and lease payments. Medical factoring is an ideal solution for medical offices, rehabilitation centers, medical testing and diagnostic centers, medical supply companies and small to mid sized hospitals.

How do I override or recover an administrator password for Windows XP 2005 Media Center without software?
I recieved a phone call from a friend asking me how to make a log-on user and password an option when they booted up the computer, since she was having problems with other people using her computer. She is the only user on her computer. I told her how BUT they left out the part (after logging off to test it, which it worked) that they did not remember their password and they haven’t used it in two years. I tried to instruct her how to get to Safe Mode but it is still demanding a password. She doesn’t want to reformat it since she has nothing backed up. I’m trying to find ways to override her password but the only downfall is that I’m using Windows 2000 Professional and my friend is one state with her Windows XP 2005 Media Center. I’m computer savvy but at this time of the night I hardly can make it around my own computer. If you have any suggestions that doesn’t involve using a disc or any software, because I’m sure she doesn’t have anything of that sort, please help me out. Thanks.

AT&T Credit Management Center email or direct telephone without automated menus?
Would anyone have an email address or direct phone number for the AT&T Credit Management Center that doesn’t have an automated menu? In other words all you do is press 0 and you get a live person to talk to. Reason i am asking is they have been calling me and my roommate nonstop and it’s become harrassing and tedious for the both of us. I want these phone calls to stop but requesting that they please not call back isn’t doing the trick and all they do is continue to harrass both my roommate and myself with calls. Hell they won’t even be respectful to my roommate when he tells them that he will pay the late bill as soon as is feasibly possible. The basically say to him you’ll put the check in the mail today without even being understanding or working with my roommate! I would really like these calls to stop any help or assistance would be appreciated

Ever worked in a call center without killing yourself? Please tell me your strength to sit there everyday.?
I know that no one is absolutely thrilled to come into their call center job everyday, but honestly, I’ve only taken calls for one day and hate it. It’s depressing, I don’t want to sit on the phone for 12 hours adding rate plans and troubleshooting their phone in their desk in china. After a call, I feel like a zombie, and I’m starting to fall asleep in between calls. One minute, I’m staring at the cubicle wall, the next I’m getting woken up by “ding ding” in my headset and have to sluggishly pull through the next call. Plus my system is extremely slow but I’m not allow to tell the customer that, so I have to fill the dead air with small talk while the system takes its sweet ol time on my handling time. Just wanted to know, how you all do it, what keeps you going?

Any way to excercise without privacy?
I don’t have the privacy to watch an excercising video or anything, so that’s out. And your answers better not be anything stupid like “WHY!?!?!”
I don’t want to walk outside because I dunno where, other people will be looking at me probably especially if I jog, etc.
And I have no excercising equipment and if i go to the community center thing or whatever it’s called that my mom signed the family up to for excercising, i’ll be the only one around my age there. obviously.
I’ll be editing this question probably, especially when people answer with something obvious.
If you’re answering just for points, at least make that answer something worthwhile and useful.
This is a bugmenot account. Don’t feel like using my real yahoo account.
Sorry, but I said I don’t want to go to the gym because i’ll be the only one around my age there most likely. Usually adults go there. No kids.. Don’t ask for my age either.
